Battery breaking system

The state of the art battery breaking system removes electrolyte from the batteries for nuetralisation purposes and, after breaking, classifies the crushed batteries into different fractions: Metallics, Paste, Polypropylene, and Polyethylene. The Lead based fractions are then smelted down in the furnaces, and the plastics recycled accordingly.

Rotary furnaces

Used in this facility to smelt the lead fines, lead grids and lead paste extracted from lead acid batteries in to crude lead bullions. These bullions are then transferred to Refining kettles to be refined to form Pure Lead or Alloy Lead ingots.
